Bus/Car Ramble: Strelley/Cossal Marsh Circular

What we will do: Walk: 6 miles. Meet at the Strelley Hall Car Park, Main Street, Nottingham NG8 6PE 10.15am for 10.30am start. A few ups and downs, a few difficult stiles, and going to be quite muddy in places. Lunch either at the Mulberry Tree Cafe at Strelley Hall or a Pub Lunch at the Broad Oak down the road at the end of the walk.

Directions by car: Park at the Strelley Hall Car Park, Main Street, Nottingham NG8 6PE.
Directions by bus: Buses from town are every twelve minutes, journey time about half an hour - NCTX 35 getting off at the Wigman Road Top bus stop – B134. Walk a short way northwards and turn left along Strelley Road in a Westerly direction to the junction with the main road. Cross over the main road carrying on in the same direction down a lane pass the Broad Oak pub is on the right-hand side, follow the road round past the church to Strelley Hall.

Important to know: There are usually 10-15 people on these walks. A lot of the walkers will be club members and are not on the Meetup website.

What to bring: Please dress appropriately for a country walk. Wear proper walking boots, bring a rucksack with liquid refreshment and some waterproof clothes depending on the weather forecast for the day.
