What we’re about

Welcome to our community where Black women who have chosen a childfree life can come together to connect, uplift, and celebrate one another in northern Virginia. This group is designed to be a safe space where we can intentionally build a strong community, share our diverse interests, and create lasting memories. Our focus is on engaging in fun and unique activities, forming meaningful friendships, and having open, transparent, and unapologetic discussions about our decision to be childfree that may be difficult to approach, or less relatable to those who have, or desire to have children.

This group is for you if:

  1. You are a Black woman who has chosen to live a childfree life.
  2. You are seeking a supportive community of like-minded women to share experiences and interests.
  3. You are interested in forming genuine friendships and creating memorable experiences.
  4. You are eager to engage in thoughtful discussions about the issues and experiences that impact your life as a childfree Black woman.
  5. You want to participate in activities that are fun, unique, and designed with your lifestyle in mind such as (but not limited to):
  • Brunch
  • Shopping
  • Travel
  • Game nights
  • Spa days
  • Classes
  • Volunteer
  • Shows
  • Concerts
  • Bougie experiences
  • Workout
  • Book Club

Group Rules:

1. We kindly request that you do not solicit at our events.

2. No form of harassment or bullying will be tolerated, and are grounds for immediate removal.

3. All members should have a Meetup profile picture showing their face. This helps organizers and attendees find you at events.

4. If you're signed up to attend an event, but can no longer join us, please update your RSVP at your earliest convenience. Some events have limited capacity and we want our sisters to have the chance to participate if we're no longer able to.
