Post turkey day brats at Burro Wash

Burro Wash 4x4 road is a semi-maintained road into lake mead national recreation area. It offers rocks, sand, and washboards, with a few decent ascents and descents along the way, as well as some great views and interesting geological sights. This is an out and back with the trail ending at a beach on the Colorado river.

Please arrive at the gas station 15 minutes prior to step off (0845). We will have a quick safety brief and meet and greet before rolling at 0900.

I will bring my grill and the food to make beer stewed bratwurst and hot dogs at the trail terminus. Feel free to bring any drinks or snacks that you would like to have with the meal. We will picnic by the river before heading back to pavement.

Minimum Requirements:
• Any off-road capable vehicle
• Good working spare tire
• Knowledge of managing your tire pressure
• GMRS Communication Radios are encouraged but not required
• Chairs/picnic accomodations
• Drinks/snacks as desired to go with bratwurst and hotdogs

guests are welcome. Driver assumes full responsibility for all guests' safety and conduct. Please rsvp with number of guests so I can ensure I bring enough food for everyone.
