CURRENT PRACTICE REQUIREMENTS DURING POST-COVID:

1. We are filling boats to capacity. If we have more than 20 people signed up, I will then work on finding a second steer for an additional boat.

We will vary the practice to enhance our endurance for races and focus on elements that need work based on the coach's assessment of our progress. Each practice has a mixture of fairly intense workouts and a whole bunch fun.

$6 EVENT FOR NEW PADDLERS!

This practice is great for those who have never tried dragon boating before and want to learn all the basics at a leisurely, casual pace. Join us as we go through correct technique and breakdown the dragon boat stroke. All are welcome to join.

Coaches and veteran paddlers will be in attendance to help our newbies.

Practice will start promptly at 9:45 am with the filling out of paperwork. Don't be late and left on the dock while we have fun on the water.

It is recommended that new paddlers wear dri-fit clothing, water shoes and bring bottles of water. Please wear sunscreen as the water reflects the sun and we want everyone to be safe.

When arriving, look for the little ticket booth. There will be an open swinging gate door. Look for the dragon boats near the dock.

Run, Walk and Stroll through the Give Kids the World Winter Wonderland

This is a Sunday FUN Paddle! Come out to paddle around Lake Fairview for an hour and listen to music while you socialize and get a workout!

This is an advanced paddling session for women participating in upcoming races. It is closed to general paddlers. If you are not a member PERMISSION MUST BE GRANTED BY A COACH to attend this session. NO EXCEPTIONS.
