This is a class on Wudang Tai Chi basics, the only one of its kind in Pasadena.
We meet every Saturday morning. So why don't you join us for a moment of peace and connection while gently stretching and strengthening your whole body? Everybody is welcome.
What is Tai Chi?
Tai Chi is a mind-body practice and an internal Chinese martial art practiced for health and self-defense. Known for its slow, intentional movements, Tai Chi has practitioners worldwide and is particularly popular as a form of low-impact, gentle exercise and moving meditation, with benefits to mental and physical health. It is suitable for all ages and all fitness levels.
Your instructor
Linda Sans hails from France and is fluent in French, English and Spanish. She began studying Qigong in Los Angeles in 2017 and followed up with Yang style Tai Chi in 2018 with Shifu Carl Totton. In 2020, she was fortunate enough to begin studying Wudang Sanfeng Pai internal martial arts and Qigong with Master Bing (Master Zhong XueChao). She obtained her Ba Duan Jin Qigong and Wudang Tai Chi 28 Teacher Certificate in April 2023. In September 2023 she spent a month in China to further study with Master Bing and immerse herself in the culture that gave birth to Tai Chi. Her training is ongoing. She has a passion for traditional Chinese culture, Taoist arts and wellness practices. In her spare time she enjoys traveling as well as French cooking.
