Alfreton Park walk 9 miles , Alfreton , Oakerthorpe, South Wingfield, Pentrich

Meeting at 10.15 , aiming to start the walk by 10.30 no later , walk starts from layby at Parkwood day centre Alfreton , just off Wingfield Road DE55 7AL, from starting the walk we go over Alfreton park , then onto Oakerthorpe, before entering South Wingfield which holds lots of history including links to Mary Queen of Scotts , after South Wingfield we go onto Pentrich before arriving back at the car ,this is a circular walk, everyone to dress accordingly for the unpredictable weather conditions including waterproofs & suitable warm clothing, we will take a break in the church grounds at South Wingfield church & we will take lunch in Alfreton Park , pack up lunch required & plenty of drinks , come & join me on this scenic walk , one not to be missed!😊
