Cromford and Matlock Circular 10 miles

Starting in Cromford we will head over to the west to go along the top of Matlock over to Matlock Green. Then we head up to Riber for great views if the weather is kind. Carrying on in a clockwise direction to Heartstone and then a romp back along the river Derwent. Will you see the dinosaur on the way back 🤭.
A scenic route around the tops of Matlock with mixed terrain.
Bring rucksack, waterproof, walking boots and poles , lunch and drink as we will not be going into Matlock.
Dogs welcome but may be on leads most of the way as not in open countryside.
Meet 9 for 9.30 am prompt start at the Cromford Meadows Car park Mill Lane which is the next one on to the main Wharf car park. It’s a pay and display car park so bring coins with you just in case. There are toilets in the car park if open.
