Debate Topic: "All Suffering Is Purposeless"

Join us for a friendly round table debate of the statement "All suffering is purposeless". Share and test your arguments for and against the claim with fellow debaters.

We like to keep the tone of our discussions warm and casual and to approach these conversations with playfulness, kindness, open-mindedness, and respectfulness. In that spirit, we appreciate reflective questioning, critical thinking, and arguing.

These will be round table discussions where everyone will have equal standing and equal opportunity to contribute to the discussion.

We'll vote on the readings or debate topic for the next meeting at the end of this meeting.

If you do want to suggest material or debate topics, please make sure that the readings are freely accessible online and that the debate topics don't require expertise for meaningful engagement.

Please do the agreed reading or viewing of agree material beforehand. If we're debating a topic, please think of at least a couple of arguments to make beforehand.
