- Newport Beach Run + Breakfast @ Helmsman Ale HouseHelmsman Ale House, Newport Beach, CA
✨ Special Edition for our Monthly Beach Run ✨
We are running (and having breakfast) for our runner friend Seila who was recently in a climbing accident and is now paralyzed from the stomach down. We will run 3~5 miles on the Newport Balboa Bike Trail along the beach and afterwards have breakfast at Helmsman Ale House who has generously offered to give a percentage of our sales to Seila's GoFundMe. All levels of runners & walkers are welcome! We'll meet before and after as a group, but feel free to run or walk at your own pace.📍 Location: We will meet at Helmsman Ale House. There is a parking lot and some street parking. We recommend arriving early and/or carpooling!
⏱️ Time: We will meet up at 7:45AM and start running at 8:00AM, so please arrive 10-15 min early to find parking and the group. We will take a group photo before we start the run :-)
🏃♀️➡️ Pace & Distance: All levels of runners are welcome to join us. This run is out and back, so the distance is self-set. Some walk, some do walk/run intervals, and some will run the whole distance.
🏃♂️➡️ Route: We will run down 30th Street from Helmsman Ale House to the Newport Balboa Bike Trail and run toward Balboa Pier.
- 1.3 miles to the basketball courts (2.6 miles total)

Important Note - We constantly have new members join our runs, which is great, but if you plan on joining us please use the RSVP. If you are bringing a guest, please add them as a +1.
