Holiday Open Mic Night at Travelbug

If you’ve got poems, tall tales, micro-fiction, memoir excerpts, personal essays, a chapter from your book, a short story, or an epistolary piece (or you want to make something up on the fly), step up to the mic and bring it to life for your fellow Kooks to enjoy. No experience required—just good cheer and a willingness to share.

Your work does not have to be holiday-themed. The only requirements for this one are: 1) each piece should be original to you (meaning you wrote or created it), and 2) it should be no more than six minutes long (so please make sure your chosen piece meets the time requirement). You can also read one or ten things as long it's under six minutes. Have more than one thing to share and think it'll take longer? If we have room, you can sign up twice.

Don't want to take the mic? Come grab a cup of coffee or a beer and snacks, enjoy a couple of hours of storytelling, and cheer your fellow Kooks on.
