Intermediate: Nordic Ski @ Prince Albert or Eb’s Trails

First winter event of this season!!

Details of this event are weather-dependent. Here is what I’m thinking:

* if there’s enough snow on the ground, this will be a ski event, quite possibly out of town. Get your skis ready! If you have not skied before this is not the event for you as we will be skiing some tricky trails, most likely in Prince Albert or Eb’s. See local ski event I’m planning for Dec. 14 for beginner/novice level.

* if there isn’t enough snow for skiing, this will be a snowshoe or hike, probably in Saskatoon.

Regardless, as I’m hoping for a ski day out of town I’m making this an all-day event so if you sign up assume you’ll be out all day.

More details to come as we near the date and the weather becomes clearer.

Dress according to the season:
* feet, hands and head need to stay warm so buy proper socks, gloves and toques
* wear wool as a first 2 layers: it wicks out sweat and keeps you warm
* invest in a warm jacket and good ski pants (if unsure what this means, message me or leave a comment on event page)

After the event: as always, warm up somehwere, preferably with a coffee or a tea and food!
