What we’re about

Welcome to the SDFB Free Food Distribution Meetup group for those in need! SDFB is a non-profit food bank located in Etobicoke, and we provide free food to individuals and families in the downtown Toronto community, particularly around the Sherbourne and Queen area.

Food distribution takes place every Saturday from 3 PM to 5 PM, regardless of the weather—rain, snow, or shine. We are also looking for volunteers to assist with the distribution. If needed, we can provide a letter confirming your volunteer hours.

Sai Dham Canada specializes in providing holistic care for seniors, addressing various needs from food insecurity to physical and mental health. As part of our wellness program, we offer a range of activities, including meditation, light chair exercises, games, social connection, and healthy snacks.

Sessions take place daily from Monday to Friday at 240 Wellesley Street, between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Community members who are interested in volunteering are welcome to drop by during these hours. A certificate of volunteering will be provided upon request.

Please ask for Surabhi when you arrive at the location.
