Abundant warm-ups and counter poses with a variety of standing, seated, and floor postures. A whole body approach appropriate for those who have done yoga previously or have a regular exercise routine. Enjoy deep relaxation at the end.Shadybrook yoga classes support strength, flexibility, vitality, and balance.

A key feature is Pranayama, a practice that focuses on and controls life-giving breath. Yogic breathing cleanses the body and supports prana, life energy.
The inner body receives as well - stretching, releasing, receiving nutrients, and releasing toxins on a cellular level.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Laura Christian Imbornoni, M.Ed., leads yoga classes and expressive movement workshops. An RYT-500 Yoga Alliance registered instructor. She has a special interest in healthy lifestyle, and balancing personal life with work and other responsibilities.
Laura is a Movement Therapy graduate, Holistic Health Educator, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Transpersonal Life Coach, and is certified in Integral Breath Therapy.----

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Nancy Herrick, RMT has embraced Reiki through years of training with various Reiki teachers and traditions. She began her Reiki journey training with Sr. Ann Winters, OSU at the Ursuline Reiki Center and later trained with Judy McCracken to practice through Reiki Rays of Hope for Caregivers. A Professional member of the Reiki Membership Association, Nancy has trained with William Rand, Carolyn Musial, Laurelle Gaia and Michael Baird all licensed teachers of the the International Center of Reiki Training. Nancy is also certified as a Jikiden Reiki practitioner at the Shoden and Okuden levels. Her Jikiden training was with Frank Arjava Petter and Mari Hall. However, her greatest teacher of all has been Reiki!-----
