Wilderness First Aid, in person, Frederick, MD

This is a very hands-on & all day course that provides an ARC Certification in both Wilderness First Aid as well as CPR/AED valid for 2 years. Typically, a lot of Scouters (Scout leaders, not kids) will take this for their high adventure trips. I've taken this twice, but am currently expired.

The course is in Frederick and runs all day, 8-6 both Saturday and Sunday. The CPR/AED add-on will happen Saturday after the course ends, running until 8pm or so. It is a full weekend committment.

Price is $235. $50 cancellation fee until 1-week prior.

If you are currently CPR/AED certified, it is only $200.

As it will run late Saturday and start early Sunday, I will plan to grab a hotel room nearby. Last time I took this course, I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in Frederick. There are lots of other options nearby.
