Downtown co-working for local writers!
Join us for focused writing time and meet other Sonoma County writers. All writers and all experience levels are welcome. These weekly events are a safe space for writers of all skill levels and genres to work on their craft. We don’t read or share our work, or offer any critiques.

We meet in a tight huddle to keep the noise level down in this inspiring, creative space. We can chat quietly as we wait for everyone to arrive. Once everyone’s arrived, I will lead quick introductions with intentions for your writing time. Then I'll set my timer for one hour and we'll spread out to whatever spots are most comfortable for you for our silent, focused writing session. When the timer goes off (silently), I'll gather everyone by walking through the library with a sign to alert you that our time is up. Then we can take turns briefly sharing how the session went for us.

Afterward, feel free to chat quietly and get to know each other. We often talk about our successes and challenges as writers. This library has an outdoor space that's nice for this when the weather is conducive. If you don’t have time to stick around, no worries!

Parking info: Parking is ample, and free after 6 pm. There's also a parking garage in the same block, for which the first hour is free, and $1/hr thereafter. With nothing to purchase at the venue, this makes this a very affordable weekly meeting.
Venue Guidelines: I have secured use of this space for our group with the understanding that we will converse in our library voices and respect others' needs for a quiet space to work and study.
