Subject: Important Update for Tuesday Badminton Sessions

Hi Everyone,
We have an important update regarding our Tuesday badminton sessions at Queen Mother Sports Centre in Victoria. Starting from next week, Tuesday the 3rd of December 2024, we are making some changes to ensure the sessions remain enjoyable and beneficial for everyone.

Limited Meetup Attendance:
Only 10 slots will be available for non-members through Meetup (pay-as-you-play) to control the session and ensure everyone gets enough games.

Meetup Slots Available:
Currently, only 10 slots are available for non-members in Tuesday’s Club session. Please note that there are also members attending the session who are not listed on Meetup. Some people have asked if only 10 players are attending, but this is not the case. We are a club with many current members, and we welcome an additional 10 players who would like to attend on a weekly, pay-as-you-play basis. Players who meet the required skill level will be contacted to select a membership option.

Tuesday Trial Session:
- The session is pay-as-you-go for non-members and costs £12. This fee will be deducted from your full membership fee if you become a member.
- It is open to Intermediate and above Ladies, intermediate men and B♂, C+♀ above badminton Players.

Matchmaking Software:
- Our in-house matchmaking software can grade your skills in no time based on your wins and losses. Come and check yourself out!

Important Notice:

RSVP Required: Members are not required to RSVP. If you are not a member, you must either let me know by email or text in advance as soon as you know, or RSVP well in advance. You must pay on arrival before starting the session. If you prefer to pay by transfer, you must make enquiries, RSVP, and pay one day in advance if you are a first-timer.

Cancellation Policy: You will be charged for the session if you cancel within 24 hours prior to the session. This policy helps us run the sessions more efficiently.

Payment: Please bring the correct cash and hand it in before you start, or make an enquiry and transfer the payment prior. Do not attend otherwise. Payment after the session won’t be accepted, and you will be turned away.

Continued Attendance: You can keep attending the session if you are not planning to become a member. However, becoming a member is cheaper in the long run and helps us run the club more efficiently, so it is very beneficial to you.

Sports Hall:
We have a spacious sports hall with 5 courts available for play at Queen Mother Sport Centre Near Victoria Tube Station.

We have four courts in this meet-up session for 3 hours (4:30pm-7:30pm) and we play Ladies’, Men’s and Mixed doubles and Singles (depending how many attend).

players with the same ability will play at the allocated courts.

Please put your name forward as soon as possible via the RSVP, as it makes it easier for us to plan the groups and give players their time slots.

Slots are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Fee: It is bargain £12 for 3 hours or more! Please pay session fees preferably at the start to organisers.
