Have you ever felt intimidated by the weight racks at the gym? Have you wanted to try barbell training but were unsure of where to start?
Come learn how to lift (heavy) at Skybound!
Most of our clients had never lifted weights before joining our community, and now love how much stronger they feel in their daily life. Our coaches have years of personal training and powerlifting experience. They’ll ensure you learn proper technique to avoid and prevent injury while teaching you the ins and outs of barbell-based training.
Our coaches will teach you how to:
- Pick the right exercises for your goals and current skill level
- Perform the exercises correctly and safely to maximize results
- Understand body mechanics and the science of resistance training
- Plan your training schedule around your lifestyle
You'll go home with our Beginning Strength handout so you can remember what you learned in the workshop.
Notes:
- Bring your active clothes, a water bottle, and hard soled shoes!
- Class is capped at 10 participants.
