What we’re about
This is a group designed for anyone interested in learning more about wine, or just enjoying the social aspect of wine tasting. Whether you've just discovered you actually like wine, or if you're a certified Sommelier, all are welcome and we cater to all levels of knowledge.
We do a combination of both online and in-person events. Some in-person activities for the group include road trips to various wineries, hosting food and wine pairings, visiting local wine bars for food and wine pairings, Brunch, or just hosting an event where we can all casually mingle and sip wines. Just a note: A majority of events will most likely have some sort of cost involved, but it's my goal to make it worth every penny and help you grow in your knowledge, love, appreciation, and enjoyment of wine. In addition, all events for this group will involve tasting wine (so we can learn about them), so if you do not drink alcohol or wine, this group may not be a good match for you.
Although the Group name is "SoCal Wine Enthusiasts," a majority of the members are from the Chino area. We tend to have a majority of our events in the Inland Empire area and Orange County, but will periodically venture out to other areas, as well.
GROUP RULES:
* There is a zero-tolerance policy for No-Shows. If you sign up for an event, you are expected to actually attend. No-Shows and last-minute cancellations will result in that member being immediately removed and banned from this group.
* Before sending a request to join the SoCal Wine Enthusiasts Group, please make sure to have an actual name and profile photo (this will help in the future identifying attendees at events).
* Keep all correspondence posted on any event pages and/or discussion kind, professional, courteous, and pertinent to the group topics only. Any personal, political, rude, hateful, or irrelevant-content posts will be removed immediately, and the person posting said correspondence will be subject to removal from the group. Bullying and harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
