CHALLENGING loop hike

Distance: 15 miles
AEG: 2,355 ft

Starting at Peralta Trailhead, we will take this loop counter clockwise starting on the Dutchman trail. At Miner's Summit we will take Whiskey Spring trail for about 2 miles where it intersects with Red Tanks trail. We will turn left on Red Tanks and take it to Bluff Springs trail, which will take us back to the Peralta trailhead.

Be prepared to encounter catclaw.

What to bring:

> Minimum 3L water, or more
> sturdy hiking shoes
> sun protection according to preference
> plenty of snacks and food for lunch
> dress in layers according to weather forecast
> other usual hiking gear
