Join us for a refreshing walk at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park! We’ll kick off the day at the park’s café, where you can meet fellow members and enjoy a coffee before we start our walk. Whether you’re here for the walk, the coffee, or both, everyone is welcome to join in.

We’ll begin our walk at 11:30 am, taking in the picturesque lakes, woodlands, and wildlife that make Cosmeston Lakes such a lovely spot. The walk will follow scenic trails through the park, offering plenty of chances to enjoy the natural beauty and perhaps spot some local wildlife.

**Venue Details:**
The café at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park is a cosy spot to start our meetup, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to grab a drink and chat before heading out on the walk.

**Getting There:**
By Public Transport:
\- Bus: Several bus routes service the Penarth area\, including routes 93 and 94\, which stop near Cosmeston Lakes\. The closest bus stop is at the park entrance\, just a short walk from the café\.
\- Train: The nearest train station is Penarth\, about a 10\-minute bus ride or a 30\-minute walk from Cosmeston Lakes\.
By Car:
\- Parking: Ample chargeable parking is available at the park\, with the main car park situated close to the café\, making it easy to find and access\.

**Additional Information:**
\- The event will go ahead even if the weather is poor\. If it's too bad to walk then it'll just be a coffee meet\.
\- Feel free to come just for the coffee if you’re not able to join the walk\.
\- Wear comfortable walking shoes\, and be prepared for a relaxed pace suitable for all fitness levels\.
\- If you’re new to the group\, this is a great opportunity to meet others in a friendly and informal setting\. Don’t hesitate to introduce yourself\!
