The Swift Cycling weekend ride will happen every Saturday weather permitting. Check back for updates about the course or if there is anything unusual about the weekly ride.

Usually we hit the road around 9, 10, or 11 AM (depending on season and weather) and head north, west or east. Rarely south from the Vic's location. Rides are 2-3 hours long at about 18 mph pace (on the flats). People get punchy on the climbs but usually we are in tight 2x2 formation with 2 minute pulls or rockin' a pace-line. Frankly, no one in Boulder County does a pace-line better than Swift. Like a machine, we are.

As is our custom, we will regroup at the corners and the tops of "significant" climbs. There will be early escape points in case you have a life off the bike. We try to keep everyone accounted for and safe on these rides. If you are thinking about bailing out of a ride early, let someone know so we don't spend the afternoon looking for you. ;)

There may be a food and beverage activity following the ride @ one of our favorite haunts like Twisted Pine, Full Cycle, or even the Rayback Collective if we are feel adventurous and social.

The group always gets a little shattered coming back into Boulder as people peel off to their homes, cars, health club showers, or whatever. If you are new to the group, visiting or are otherwise nervous about where you are going, just let someone know and we'll be sure you don't get lost.
