Narrabeen Lagoon 8kms Hike with Coooool Microbrew in Brookvale for Eat / Drinks!

(Sorry team - had to move this back a week to Sep 28th, as I'm dogsitting the three Labradors in Bondi on the 21st)

Narrabeen Lagoon has been on my list for some time now - let's do it with some fun at the end. It looks like a relaxed, flat, by-the-water 8kms for all to enjoy. Add a cool micro-brew at the end for drinks / late lunch? Yes. Get in there like swimwear.

The Beer, Wine. Food. If you haven't been to Brookvale, it's this weird-amazing part of Sydney... Dave's Muffler Service is next door to Johnno's Windows Inc which is next to some of Sydney's best microbreweries... 4 Pines. Bucketty's. 7th Day. Nomad's. Dad & Dave's... and Freshwater Brewing Company. It's Freshwater's 2nd Bday that day, so it should be super fun - 130pm reservation has been made!

The hike. I've not done it before, but the pics / opinions makes it sound like a lovely stroll around this naturistic 8kms circuit. The B1 bus stop is our start / stop point too - perfect.

"Narrabeen Lagoon is also one of the northern beaches greatest natural assets and is a haven for wildlife. Access to the northern beaches largest coastal lagoon has been greatly improved thanks to the Multi-use Trail around the entire lagoon, which can be used by walkers and cyclists. The Narrabeen Lagoon trail is an easy 8.4km loop on a well formed, shared track without steps. Take a journey through beautiful ecosystems with an abundance of wildlife, cultural heritage and historical sites. There are also numerous carparks, picnic areas, playgrounds and boating ramps around the lagoon."

Sounds delightful - and long enough to finish and think: "Ahhhh time for a beer, wine, and some food."

To host our post-hike festivities, I've got an email in with Freshwater Brewing Company - lovely spot. Let's have some food / drinks there then maybe head across the road to Bucketty's if there's no queue - this joint can really get pumping.

Rules & Logistics.
a) Numerous buses stop at our starting point. Check the map / bus times - be early, be travel savvy! Hike starts at 11:10am - should take 2hrs max / quick bus to Brookvale - we'll be in the pub by 130pm - 145pm.
b) $10 cash or PayID for this one. If we get more than 30, I'll pick name out of the hat, and a lucky winner will get freebie tacos!
c) Pleeeeeeeaaaase respect our lovely bars / restaurants that say "Yes, we'd love to host your group". Your RSVP "Yes" is your word - keep your word - especially when they have my credit card details for the reso.
d) You don't have to drink!
e) Be on time. Be on time. Be on time... 10mins late, and you'll be jogging to meet up with us.
f) Please check the event page comments for any dramas / changes.
g) Relaxed pace / medium pace to hike.
