Tai Chi & Qigong for Health
Details
Description:
Tai Chi and Qigong are two ancient Chinese practices that can bring more balance and well-being into your life. Tai Chi, once used as an ancient martial art, has evolved into a popular mind-body practice. This exercise provides many health benefits that are attributed to the slowness of movement, mental concentration, attention to posture and breathing. Movements are graceful, fluid, rhythmic and relaxed.
Qigong—a powerful yet gentle exercise focuses on cultivating and balancing your body's energy, known as "Qi." Qigong involves simple, flowing movements, combined with deep breathing and meditation, to help you relax, reduce stress, and boost your overall health. It’s easy to learn and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, making it a perfect starting point for anyone interested in improving their wellness.
Our group sessions are inclusive and typically include:
- Guided warm-ups to loosen joints and muscles.
- Relaxation and meditation to ground and integrate the experience.
- Qigong exercises to stimulate and balance the body's energy.
- Tai Chi forms focusing on fluid, graceful movements.
Whether you aim to improve your health, find inner calm, or enjoy moving meditation, our group is the perfect place to begin or continue your journey. Join us with an open heart, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to explore the benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong. All individuals 18 and over are welcome!
