Muay Thai Sparring

What's involved:

• Improve your Sparring Confidence
• Develop Footwork
• Experiment with Combinations
• Put into practice your Skill & Techniques

What you'll need:

• Bring all your equipment; Headguard, Gloves, Shinguards, Gumshields, Groinbox etc (you should always have these equipment with you)
• Make sure you have Martial Arts Public Liability Insurance. If you do not, please speak to the Head Coach
  Arrive on time! You cannot miss the safety briefing for this sparring class!

This is a Sparring Class. Although it's light & controlled sparring there are risks of injury like every sport. Please be mindful of this before RSVP'ing, AND ensure you have live Insurance cover in place 🙏

Kickboxing Technique & Conditioning Class

What's involved

• Calisthenics exercises to improve Cardiovascular Fitness & Strength
• Techniques and Defence Drills
• Plyometrics Speed Conditioning
• Develop healthy and lean Physique

What to bring

All your Muay Thai training and safety equipment
Bottle of water
Muay Thai Shorts are compulsory as they are sports specific! Can be worn over leggings. Please do not wear unsuitable clothing such as track & field shorts, surf or board shorts, tracksuit bottoms etc. MMA Shorts are acceptable as they have enough stretch for splits flexibility & splits training

Muay Thai Boxing & Combination Class

• Boxing Techniques & Combination Drills
• Offence, Defence Training
• Shin & Muscle Impact Conditioning
• Develop Fitness & Physique

• Bottle of water

K1 Kickboxing Fundamentals Class

What's involved

* Kicking & boxing drills
* Honing fundamental Kickboxing techniques
* Flexibility & mobility training
* K1/Kickboxing Sparring for live practice
* Develop fitness & physique

What to bring

• All your Muay Thai training and safety equipment
• Bottle of water
• Kickboxing Trousers and/or Muay Thai Shorts are compulsory as they are sports specific! Can be worn over leggings. Please do not wear unsuitable clothing such as track & field shorts, surf or board shorts, tracksuit bottoms etc. MMA Shorts are acceptable as they have enough stretch for splits & flexibility training

BOXING & SPARRING CLUB

What's involved:

• Improve your Boxing skills
• Hone your Footwork
• Experiment with Combinations
• Develop Ring Awareness

What you'll need:

• Decent pair of Trainers! This will be on flat surface with no mats, good sports trainers are essential!
• Also bring following equipment; Headguard, Handwraps, Gloves, Gumshields, Groinbox etc (you should always have these equipment with you). Shinguards are not necessary for this Boxing class.
• Make sure you have Martial Arts Public Liability Insurance. If you do not, please speak to the Head Coach.

There is Sparring in this class. Although light & controlled sparring there are always risk of injury like with every contact sport. Please be mindful of this before RSVP'ing, AND ensure you have live Insurance cover in place 🙏

FREE TO ALL SHARK STUDENTS

Team Shark has a fully trained and qualified Kinesiology Taping Specialist, but due to demand and timings please use this Shark event to book a consultation. You must message the Head Coach and then RSVP here to confirm your booking!

Half hour Drop-In clinic for any Shark members with a new or existing ache, soreness or minor injury who would like to discuss if Kinesiology Taping can assist with their recovery

Be mindful of the following:

• K-Taping cannot be used on cuts, grazes or open wounds
• K-Taping adheres only on clean, non-sweaty, hairless body parts. You'll need to ensure the area is shaved & hairless on the day
• Only 2 consultations slots available each Thursday, so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please do not forget to text the Head Coach to confirm your booking!

K-Taping is free only to paid memberships to support Team Shark! Full length PRIVATE consultations are £25 per session to non-members
