SAN DIEGO CHORUS: Weekly Rehearsal

For nearly 75 years, the San Diego Chorus has distinguished itself as a passionate, award-winning advocate of music, education and community. We are a competitive chorus performing award-winning 4-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style.

The San Diego Chorus meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. in Room 207 of the Casa del Prado building of Balboa Park. Our year-round, self-paced "soft" audition process means you're welcome to visit any of our casual weekly rehearsals. Women and non-binary harmony singers are always encouraged to visit.

RSVP and our New Member Team will be standing by to greet and guide you every step of the way. New guests are invited to arrive by 6:30 for a vocal assessment to identify range and part.

In addition to weekly rehearsals, the San Diego Chorus hosts multiple guests open houses throughout the year that are specifically geared to introducing visitors to our organization, musical genre, membership guidelines and culture.

Singers feel an immediate connection with our community of dedicated, talented and passionate group of musicians. All levels of musical experience are welcome.
