7 days Sunday 26th January fly out from Glasgow return Sunday 2nd February.

TRAVEL AND HOTEL

4.25 hours direct from Glasgow.

Includes:22Kg plus 10Kg hand luggage allocation ATOL protected, includes coach transfers of approximately an hour.
Insurance is a must and passports must have 6 months validity.

Hotel staff and locals have a reputation of being very friendly, languages are Arabic, French, Spanish and English.

Day time weather mid 20's but it can become chilly at night depending upon the wind direction as the desert nearby can cool the air so do bring warm clothes for the evening.

All rooms have safes.

Currency is Moroccon Dirham £1.00 is about 12.70
100 Dirham is about £8.00

Dirhams are in other countries, so do order only Moroccon ones!

You will most likely need a week from Ramsdens to get them in as there is low demand compared to Euros.

Many places take debit/ credit cards, but not all.

Food is very affordable under £10 a meal.
Alcohol is available in all Hotels and most restaurants but there are no bars.
Restaurants offer entertainment and also drinks which are around the same price as In Scotland.
Off licences most are called Victoria Wine, sell at UK prices.

Do not drink tap water or clean your teeth with it. Only drink bottled water from reputable sources.

Do dress appropriately.

Be extra careful when crossing busy roads as these can be hectic.

Overall the resort is safe, there is a reassuring police presence ensuring safety of tourists as holiday trade is important to Morocco.

Carry valuables in your clothing and it is strongly advised that females should not walk alone back to the hotel after say a late night out.

We will issue a schedule ahead of the holiday.
We intend to have 4 days of optional diverse walking/site seeing activities with some additional evening events.
Leaving two days free to explore or relax by the beach or for you to have your own adventures.

We are hoping to meet up on the Sunday 26th in the evening at the outside pool complex to gather for an activity.
