We're meeting at The Garage on King this week! This space does not have games, so please bring a couple of your favorites with you.

Meet your neighbors and let out that mid-week stress at our only weekly game night. We'll play any type of game, from card to board to charades. Bring your favorite (please!) or just bring yourself. Our events are open to the public - can't wait to meet you!

The Garage on King is a modern food hall, offering a collection of 8 diverse culinary creations, a premium bar, an event space, and live entertainment. Giving the people of Martinsburg and visitors a unique experience downtown with a wide variety of local food and drink alternatives.

Pink Cows' monthly trip to kick ass at Harpers Ferry Brewing's trivia night!

Team size is limited to 5 players, and so also is this event. If enough people for a second team join the waitlist (8 total), I will open attendance up to ten spots.
Please DO NOT RSVP TO THIS EVENT if:

you are uncertain about your ability to show up for the event

you intend to register your own separate team

Please note that Trivia begins at 6pm, but at least one player must arrive early in order to register the team and log their device into the game. The brewery closes at 8pm, as soon as the game ends. No outside food or drink.

After closing, we often migrate to The Barn of Harpers Ferry (a bar) to play a few games.

A [every other] weekend event for those longer-running strategy games. These often integrate many different kinds of game mechanics. If you like puzzles & strategic planning, come learn a new game with us. Our events are open to the public - can't wait to meet you!

PLEASE leave a comment if you are bringing a new game to recommend, so that everyone may have a chance to go over the rules and the mechanics of gameplay.

BYO snacks and drinks, but please be mindful and responsible. If you are feeling generous and want to bring something to share, that is always welcomed.

The address will be sent to attendees the evening prior to the event, but for reference, the home is 2.5 miles from Shepherdstown.

This event needs a host! We usually meet among our private residences, but have also met at public places and businesses (with Manager's prior approval). Please contact Organizer Tristyn if you are interested in coordinating our Meetup this week!

The Charles Town American Legion opens their doors to the public every Friday, and we are able to gather on their second floor to play games. This is an open session style event where you may join and leave at any time (until our host locks up for the night). Grab your favorite games & friends and come say hi! We'll play any type of game, from card to board to charades and more.

BYO snacks and drinks, but please be mindful and responsible. You’re also invited to grab a drink or the Friday meal special (6-9pm) from the Legion's bar downstairs. If you have respiratory issues, be aware that the downstairs can get quite smoky, and this does drift up to the second floor.

The company that bought MeetUp (Bending Spoons) is wringing us out and throwing away the platform.

My [organizer] bill is going from $100/6months up to $190 for the same amount of time. They keep promising improvements and "AI" - that do absolutely nothing. Myself and other organizers have been pleading with them to listen to us, but the company does not care, of course. I cannot continue to support the cannibalization of all the wonderful communities here. I will not pay more for less. I'm sorry, but this MeetUp group will cease to exist tonight.
