A familiar route - hopefully with better weather than the Spring edition!

A short pretty route from Penicuik to West Linton and Romanno Bridge, and up over the Meldons on the way back . After lunch, it's a short trip back up the Peebles Road (some of this is on on the cycle path), the hairpin bends and back to Penicuik.

Bike: road (or gravel if you would like to). The route is all tarmac.
Distance: 35 miles
Elevation: 1700 feet
Pace: social - at the pace of the slowest rider. Newcomers welcome :-)

Lunch: Scots Pine, Eddleston.

Please bring layers, snacks, water, inner tube/tools, banter.

Please have your emergency contact number in your bike bag or on your phone. Wearing a helmet is essential.
