Virginia Beach Area Transplants Age 25 to 50

This is a check in event to see who is still interested in being a member of the group. As a group organizer I am charged based on the number of members in the group. This is an event to see who is responsive and would like to stay in the group and eventually attend these monthly events. If you are local and you reply, you'll stay in. If you have never attended an event, do not check in here, or do not respond to multiple messages you will be removed to make room for somebody else that would like to attend.

This is also a fundraiser to help pay the monthly organizer fees that I pay to Meetup and help cover the cost of supplies such as citronella fuel for the torches, citronella candles, mosquito treatments, paper plates, plastic bowls and silverware, burgers, tacos, chili, community beer and beverages, open bar, propane (my god the propane costs!!), etc... Nobody is required to donate anything. Everybody is always welcome even if you can't contribute anything. Its $200 for the years subscription to Meetup right now. Each event I come out of pocket $100-$150 to make these events happen. You can donate on here through Meetup or you can donate via Zelle, Cashapp, or Venmo. My phone number is 757-915-7302. Join us Friday December 13th for Beer, Burgers, Bourbon and Bonfires Christmas Edition starting at 7pm and going till whenever!! We will have an ugly sweater contest with the winner winning a TBD prize. Ham and Turkey will be provided but please sign up to bring a side. Normal sides needed are corn, mashed potatoes (2-3 different styles) gravy (multiple) cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, stuffing (multiple), deviled eggs, sugar cookies, deserts, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin pie, apple pie, vanilla ice cream, giblet gravy, candied yams, egg nog, cauliflower at gratin, brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, veggie tray, finger foods and anything else you can think up!

If you would like to contribute we can use dry firewood, propane, heavy duty plastic silverware, heavy duty paper plates, red solo cups, paper towels, napkins, community liquor and beer, drinks, and online and cash contributions. We had 40 members attend the Tyson/Paul fight. Still looking to break the record of 49.
