Join us as we come together to explore advances in ARVR technology, learn how to use this technology, discuss ideas on how to create ARVR content and how to transform existing content to work with ARVR. We welcome artists, developers, programmers, enthusiasts and any professionals from any field looking to expand their horizon into new technologies. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, designer, or just curious about the future of reality, this is the event for you!

🎙SPECIAL GUEST:
Majid Pourmemar

Majid Pourmemar will dive into cutting-edge techniques used to predict user behavior, teach how to design interfaces that people love, and explores the magic of AR from the perspective of both users and creators.

Majid Pourmemar is a 3D Graphics Software Engineer at Arthrex, working with the AR/VR team to create real-time applications for medical education and marketing. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Concordia University, where his research focused on predicting human performance in immersive environments. Majid has also worked as a software engineer at PassiveLogic and Magicplan, developing AR/VR technologies. His research interests include using AI to enhance user interfaces and experiences in AR/VR. He has been an active paper reviewer for IEEE’s ISMAR since 2023.

Olnise, a Registered Nurse who’s currently pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Analytics. Her goal right now is to create a VR/AR APP to educate healthcare workers.
James, a Web Developer for the Minnesota Twins focuses on visualizing baseball data in a 3D environment. He is working towards enhancing the game of baseball through AR/VR tools.
Leonardo, the Manager of Realtime Graphics Software Engineering at Arthrex works on developing 3D Graphics applications for Medical Education and OR Planning.
