Welcome to everyone looking to feel more centered and grounded amidst the stress of our daily lives. Welcome to everyone wanting to learn how to be more resilient, adaptable, and confident in their ability to weather any storm!
My name is Bryan Griffin, and I'm the senior instructor at Quest Martial Arts Raleigh, a local dojo in Wakefield Commons, where I teach ancient ninja martial arts (Ninjutsu) adapted for modern self-defense.
Part of defending ourselves is defending our bodies and sanity from the negative effects of stress, so meditation and mindfulness is a big part of our curriculum!
I decided to create this meetup to help reach more of our local community that might be looking for fun, low-key, dogma-free classes, activities, and gatherings where they can learn and practice seated and moving forms of meditation, mindfulness, and inner-journeying to feel stronger, more at ease, and more ready to live with purpose and passion.
We'll be hosting and sharing a variety of events from different expert teachers in our community, so check back often to see new listings and feel free to get in touch if there's something specific you're looking for! Our events will be a mix of free and paid, online and in-person, and adults-only and all-ages.
We'll also share special opportunities to train with my teacher, An-Shu Stephen K. Hayes of the Blue Lotus Assembly.
