Capitol Reef - car camping and hiking

Details

Join us for an adult only weekend of camping and hiking in the least-visited of the Utah national parks, Capitol Reef. The hikes include a mix of beginner friendly trails through scenic canyons, as well as long hilly hikes requiring a modest degree of fitness. We will camp for free in a scenic dispersed campsite on BLM land near Torrey. In the evenings we will gather around a propane fire in comfortable pop-up canopies, sheltered from the wind.
Cost: $10.00 for group-related expenses (Must be paid before spot is secured. This is a donation and not refundable). Please pay via Venmo to @William-Clark-409.
If you have not already done so, please go to the following link and create an account. You will be asked for your email and then, phone number and emergency contact.

Optional meals: $5 per breakfast (Sat/Sun/Mon), $5 per lunch (Sun/Mon), $10 per dinner (Sat/Sun). That's a total of $45 for all shared meals. See below for menu info. For Saturday lunch, we will find a place in Torrey to eat. Most attendees will leave after work on Friday and arrive at camp at around 9 pm. Others can leave on Saturday morning (before 8am) and meet the group for lunch in Torrey. Some participants might choose to return on Sunday evening.
The Saturday and Sunday hikes will be chosen from the following trails:
