Rough Canyon Loop Hike

Rough Canyon is located in the BLM Bangs Canyon Management Area south of Grand Junction.
Let’s meet at the Mica Mine Parking lot (I drive a silver jeep Cherokee limited).
We will start the hike on the Tabaguache trail and return hiking up Rough Canyon.
Note: The middle section of Rough Canyon is very primitive and requires a lot of scrambling to get around boulders and rock falls.
