Skate & SUP 🛼🏄🏻‍♀️

Last Skate & SUP event of the season!
Join us for this special event in collaboration with Chicago SUP. We are combining skating and paddleboarding.

We will meet at our usual spot at Belmont Harbor at 4:15 pm (see map under photos). From there we will skate to North Ave Beach.
We will take off our skates and get on the water. No previous paddleboarding skills required. I (Kirsten) am an instructor at Chicago SUP.
We will get a highly discounted rate for this sunset paddle. Board, paddle, and life vest are included for $30.

After about an hour of paddling we will skate back to Belmont so for those who drive it will be best to park there. There might be a stop for a drink at Shore club again if they continue to let us in on skates.

What to bring for Paddleboarding:

• Towel
• Change of clothes (trust me, you will fall in or want to jump in)
• Hydration
  Do not bring any keys, phones, etc. on the water. We will have lockers to store them.
  If you have a waterproof, floating case for your phone, that’s fine. Sunglasses/glasses need to be secured with an eyewear retainer strap (you don’t want to lose them and we don’t need more plastic in the lake).

I will have my GoPro and take lots of photos/videos.

Lastly, needless to say but you need to be able to swim even though we provide life vests.
