Art-full Discovery Hunt: Vivian Maier + Rooftop Drinks, Bites & Views

Join us Friday, September 27th for a an art-full photo hunt through the Vivian Maier: Unseen Work exhibit at Fotografiska - followed by optional drinks/bites at the fireside (heated) lounge at the Roof at Park South.

Vivian Maier: Unseen Work showcases Maier’s extensive body of work from the 1950s to the 1980s, including about 200 pieces of vintage and modern prints, films, and soundtracks, drawing attention to this often overlooked photographer whose body of work was only discovered after her death. Aiming to address cultural inequalities and improve the status of women in the arts, the exhibit offers a comprehensive view of her archive, reflecting post-war America and the complexities of the American dream.

While we won't have a formal guided tour, we will have the opportunity to do our own Art-full Discovery hunt through the exhibit, providing added opportunities for reflection and connection as we experience Maier's beautiful work.

Don't miss this chance to experience Fotografiska's current gorgeous Park Avenue South location, before it closes for good; learn about and experience the work of an overlooked female photographer, and meet fellow art-full New Yorkers at the same time!

It will also serve as great inspiration for our mindful photography workshop on October 5th!
