MaryAnn showed me this trail. There is evidence of the "Bomb Cyclone" from last month, but it has mostly been cleared from the trails. There are a couple of trees to climb over or crawl under, but nothing is too challenging. Parts of the trail can be slippery and steep. Poles are recommended if you use them.

According to All Trails, "Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 48 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of the day. The best times to visit this trail are January through November. Dogs are welcome, but they must be on a leash.
This trail is one of Cougar Mountain's best. The trail conditions are typically good and are well-maintained. The trail is connected to the well-known "Broadway", Shangri-La Trail, and the Anti-Aircraft Peak, where there is a "Million Dollar View" looking to half of the Sammamish Lake. If the weather is fine, one may even see Mt Baker's snow-covered top."

We will have lunch at the "Millon Dollar View" picnic bench.

**Facilities**: Portapotty at the trailhead and also at the destination

**PASS**: No pass is required

**Carpool**: Arrange carpools in the comments below. Don't forget to pay your carpool driver. It is also recommended to mask up. Here are the carpool contribution guidelines: 30 min drive= $5 1 hour drive=$10 2 hour drive=$20

Don't hesitate to get in touch with the hike leader for last-minute cancellations. Two no-shows will result in removal from the group.
