Over 44 million men and women in the United States now have low bone density or brittle bone disease called osteoporosis according to the national osteoporosis foundation. For these individuals, a slip or fall, could result in a painful bone fracture.
To protect bone health, a mix of balance, weight-bearing and strengthening exercises can help.
Join me as I take you through a series of yoga poses and exercises designed to help strengthen bones and create flexibility. Exercises will include the use of chairs, blocks, and straps to help sustain and improve body alignment.
