This Meetup group provides you with opportunities to have international exchanges through outdoor of hiking mountains and visiting tourist spots ! If you think that you are recently out of shape, shall we solve lack of exercise by walking a slightly longer distance than usual ? We have many outdoor event for hiking begginers so, it's not worth worrying if you are a hiking begginer. Furthermore, we basically hold outdoor events for free except BBQ and camping ! Enjoy plum blossoms and flowers that bloom in winter ! at noted places of plum blossoms in Kyoto, it's the best opportunity to see plum blossoms every year. In this event, we can enjoy different kinds of flowers and trees and nature !
First, it's the bast noted place for plum blossoms in Kyoto, "Kitano Tenmangu" ! It's famous for God of studying as well ! There are about kinds of 50 plum blossoms and 1,500 plum blossoms, and you can see not only the vibe and the smell of plum blossoms but also different flowers, trees and nature enjoying plum tee and Senbei.
Second, it's Hirano shrine that we can enjoy seeing flowers even if it's winter season ! Although it's a small shrine, you might be able to see winter cherry blossoms and Japanese daffodils. Although it depend of the year whether what kinds of flowers, let's enjoy "once in a life time opportunity" together !
Lastly, it's Mt. Funaokayama ! Although it's like a park that is kind of a small and that tat height is 112 m (45m from the foot of the mountain), you can see around of a whole of Kyoto city there.
You can enjoy lunch at a cozy caffe ! Lunch meal of the special of the day and curry of beef tendon are very popular there !
It's suitable for hiking beginners so, t's not worrying about it because you have to go up to rapid slops.

• 11:30 : Meet together in Hankyu railway, Saiin station ! Move to caffe, Off Time that is located on the way to Kitano Tenmangu !
• 12:00 : Have lunch at the cozy caffe, Off Time ! You can choose special of the day, Japanese beef tendon curry, Hashed beef rice, Miso pizza (all of them are 880 yen) and etc. !
• 13:00 : Leave from the caffe and move to Kitano Tenmangu ! Walk along Tenjin rive, drop in Yo-kai street and Kyoto Bukkyo museum on the way to Kitano Tenmangu !
• 13:30 : Arrive at Kitano Tenmangu ! Hang out thete and see plum blossoms ! Enjoy plum tea and Senbei there ! ( 1,200 yen)
• 14:30 : Leave from Kitano Tenmangu and move to Hirano Shrinenest next to Kitano Tenmangu ! Hang out in the shrine !
• 15:00 : Leave from Hirano shirine and move to Mt. Funaokayama !
• 15:30 : Arrive at the observatory of Mt. Funaokayama ! Let's drop in the shrine that Sengoku warrior, Nobunaga Oda is worshiped, Kenkun shrine as well
• 16:00 : Leave from Mt. Funaokayama and move to subway, Kuramaguchi station !
• 16:20 : Arrive at subway, Kuramaguchi station and dismiss there ! You can go to JR Kyoto station directly if you go back to your home by JR or you can go to Hankyu Torimaru station directly if you prefer Hankyu railway from there (Both of them are about 10 minutes ).〇 Participation fee

• The organizer never takes responsibility for any trouble and any accident in this event.京都の名所で梅花と冬に咲く花を楽しみましょう！京都の梅花の名所では毎年2月～3月に見頃を迎えます。このイベントでは京都市内の３つのスポットで、それぞれ異なる花や木、自然をお楽しみ頂けます！
1つ目は京都屈指の梅花の名所、北野天満宮！学問の神様がいることでも有名です。敷地内には約50種類、1,500本の梅花があり、梅の景色や香りを楽しみつつ、梅茶とせんべいをお楽しみ頂けます！
2つ目は冬でも花が見られることで有名な平野神社！こじんまりした神社ですが、当日は冬桜や水仙が見られるかもしれません。どの時期にどの花が咲くかは年によりますが、一緒にその一期一会を楽しみましょう！
最後は船岡山！標高112ｍ（麓から45ｍ）の公園の様な小さな丘ですが、山頂から京都市内が一望出来ます。
お昼ご飯はアットホームなカフェでランチ！日替わりプレートと国産牛すじカレーが人気です！
急な坂道を登る訳では無いのでハイキングが苦手な人でも安心してご参加頂けます。京都で自然、伝統を味わいながら一緒にウォーキングを楽しみましょう！

• 13:00 : カフェから北野天満宮へ移動！天神川沿いを歩きつつ、通り道にある一条妖怪ストリート、京都佛立ミュージアムに寄って現地へ！

It’s time to enjoy seeing Kawazuzakura in Kyoto ! Kawazuzakura is a kind of cherry blossom, and it bloom earlier than the other cherry blossoms. This season, about 200 Kawazuzakura cherry blossoms bloom along Yodosuiro, and it’s one of spring traditions among Kansai people ! Enjoy seeing the fantastic vibe there ! After that, explore the old Japanese historical vibe in ruins of Yodo castle !
Small hiking is prepared on Mt.Otokoyama ! Although the height is not more than 140m, you can see around between Kyoto city and Uji area at the observatory ! There is a shrine that is very famous for warding off the evil, Iwashimizu hachimangu on Mt.Otokoyama, and you can enjoy the great Japanese vibe there !
On lunch break, amazing local foods are waiting for you nearby Iwashimizu hachimangu ! Enjoy tastes of “Udon for warding off the evil” and original spicy curry that are cooked by a former French chef !
Lastly, enjoy a small hiking going down from Mt. Otokoyama by walking ! Enjoy historical vibes at Torii and another shrine, “Tongu” !
This event is suitable for hiking beginners because it’s not that we will not go up to the mountain by walking and not walk in a long distance. Enjoy early spring vibe in Kyoto together !

男山ではプチハイキングをご用意！標高は140m程度ですが、展望台からは京都市内と宇治方面が一望できます！男山には厄除けで有名な石清水八幡宮があり、最高の日本の雰囲気をお楽しみ頂けます！
昼食は石清水八幡宮の近くで美味しいローカルフードがお待ちかね！元フレンチシェフが作る、”厄除けうどん”やオリジナルのスパイシーカレーをご堪能下さい！
最後は男山を歩いて下山しながらハイキングを楽しみましょう！鳥居やもう一つの神社、”頓宮”で歴史的な雰囲気をご堪能下さい！

“Ono Sakuratsuzumikairo” is the largest SAKURA spots in west Japan ! The length is no less than 4km, and you can enjoy walking in tunnels of five kinds of SAKURA included Oshima Sakura and Somei Yoshino from the end of March to the beginning of April every year ! Explore the fantastic world that you can explore only here !
After enjoy seeing Sakura, let’s enjoy small hiking in Ono Alps ! About 5km hiking trail takes you to the great adventure. It’s sure that amazing scenery and small rock climbing excite you ! On lunch time, enjoy texture of authentic Sanuki Udon !
After hiking, let’s ease your tiredness in Onsen that has a history of 400 years over if you have sometime on that day !
Representative essences of Ono city are condensed in this event ! Let’s enjoy a spring holiday in Ono city together !

We are looking for a person who become an assistant organizer and a volunteer member in our outdoor group, 【KIOG】! Although we hold our outdoor events two or three times a month in Kansai area on a regular basis, we need a assistant organizer who helps our participants to go to our destination in our events, and who organizes our outdoor events. We will welcome if you become a volunteer member who support our participants in our event as well. If you are interested in organizing outdoor activities included hiking and camping and you like to support our participants, Let’s do it together ! We are looking forward to your application !
