We run our Women’s wellness walks for every stage of life. We meet as a group of women to connect and be outside in nature. Aimed at anyone at any stage in life – with full support for all stages of the menopause.
This walk isn’t just about the scenery; it’s about the bond between women and the empowerment found in community, friendships and being outside. Studies show that spending time outdoors boosts mood, reduces stress, and promotes overall well-being. What better way to experience these benefits than by coming together in a supportive and uplifting environment?
Walk leader: For anyone who doesn’t know my personal situation I went through a medical menopause in my 20’s , I have since had a long and never ending list of symptoms which has lead me to being trained in the menopause. I have included on both medical and retail panels to discuss the mental and physical impact the menopause can have. These walks allow a safe space to talk openly if you wish. - Tenterden “Jewel of the Weald” Guided Group Walk – 6.5mile / 10kmTenterden High Street, Tenterden

Full Moon Night Hike - Guided Group Walk - Kings Woods - 5 Miles / 8KM - MJ Outdoor Adventures
Overview:
The December full moon, aptly named the Cold Moon, marks the time when winter’s chill sets in and the nights grow longer and darker. This name traces back to ancient traditions that recognized this moon as a harbinger of the deepest cold, a nod to the natural cycle of the seasons. Kings Wood, once a royal hunting forest dating back to the medieval era, offers a beautiful backdrop for this moonlit adventure with its ancient oaks, sprawling paths, and views over to Canterbury on the North Downs Way.As we venture through the woodland, we might be lucky enough to spot nocturnal wildlife. Kings Wood is home to tawny and barn owls, listening to their calls echoing through the woodlands is a real treat. Home also to bats, squirrels, hedgehogs, foxes and badgers, Kings Wood comes alive at night!
Night hiking brings a unique view to the woods. You find your senses sharpening as you get used to the low light and the silence is beautiful.
There is very little light pollution in this area so we are hoping for a clear night to star gaze and see the moon fully.
*Please note you will need to bring a torch (preferably a headtorch for ease), extra layers and we would recommend walking poles if you are unsure on your footing in the dark*

Time: 6:30pm
Cost: £5 per person
