Welcome to Auckland Global Trekkers, where outdoor people come together to experience the natural wonders of New Zealand and the world. Our passion is exploring the great outdoors through hiking, walking, camping, kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, and more.

Our adventures range from day hikes in lush forests, urban walks, coastal explorations in Auckland, to weekend camping getaways in beautiful locations. In the summer, we embark on multi-day hikes across New Zealand and the world, allowing you to immerse yourself in its stunning landscapes.

Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a novice, our hikes/treks cater to all skill levels. Our experienced organisers are here to guide you, while capturing the breathtaking beauty of the world's landscapes.

Safety is paramount to us. Our organizers are well-equipped and experienced, carrying walkie-talkies and PLBs when necessary. Nature can be unpredictable, so we emphasize the importance of preparedness and following organiser instructions.

Greetings Everyone - We will visit the re-opened Fairy Falls. We will walk the Cutty Grass Track and the Fairy Falls Track.
● Some Words to Inspire You:
The Fairy Falls Track in Auckland's Waitākere Ranges is a beautiful, moderate hike that leads to a stunning multi-tiered waterfall. The track winds through lush native bush, with towering kauri trees, ferns, and vibrant birdlife creating a peaceful atmosphere. The highlight of the hike is the Fairy Falls, where water cascades down a series of rocky tiers, offering a perfect spot for rest and photos.The trail includes some steep sections and stairs, making it a bit challenging, but the scenic views and natural beauty along the way make it well worth the effort. It's a popular escape for nature lovers.
Duration: About 3-4 hours hike including stops.
Distance: Approx 12-14 km.
Difficulty: 2.5 on our 1-5 scale for day hikes.

- Coromandel - Opoutere & Onemana Coastal WalkNew World Victoria Park, Auckland
Greetings Everyone - Join us this Sunday as we explore Onemana Beach, Pakahakaha Bay and Opoutere Beach in the very beautiful Coromandel, followed up with the after function in the old town of Thames - New Zealand in the 1950's.

The Pakahakaha Bay Walk and Opoutere Beach Coastal Loop Walk offer unique coastal experiences on New Zealand’s Coromandel Peninsula. Pakahakaha Bay Walk is a serene trek through native bush, opening to a secluded bay with beautiful views of pristine waters. It’s a gentle walk that’s ideal for those seeking a peaceful escape surrounded by natural beauty.The Opoutere Beach Coastal Loop Walk, on the other hand, provides a more expansive coastal experience along golden sands, dunes, and wetlands teeming with birdlife. This loop combines beachside strolling with forested trails, making it a perfect mix for those wanting both scenic and wildlife encounters.
Duration: About 3-3.5 hours hike including stops.
Distance: Approx 8-10 km.
Difficulty: 2.25 on our 1-5 scale for day hikes.
What the scale meansCost: $35 for Car Pooling People
Toilets: At the Beaches or the Corner Stone Cafe.

- Gardens of Auckland CityNew World Victoria Park, Auckland
Greetings Everyone - On Sunday we will visit some of the amazing gardens in Auckland City.
Parnell Rose Garden, Auckland Domain Native Forest and Winter Gardens, Highway - Historical House and Gardens, Eden Gardens and finishing with Western Park.
We will also walk to the top of Mount Eden (Time permitting).

Exploring Auckland’s garden gems like the Parnell Rose Garden, Eden Garden, the Winter Gardens, and the top of Mount Eden makes for a delightful outing for any hiking group.The Parnell Rose Garden offers a vibrant sea of blooms and tranquil paths, while Eden Garden’s native plants and waterfalls create a peaceful haven for a quiet walk.
The Winter Gardens in Auckland Domain enchant with tropical plants and beautiful glasshouses, adding charm to the day.
Walking between these scenic spots combines leisurely strolls, photo opportunities, and a sense of community, perfect for nature enthusiasts and hiking friends alike.
